LĪHUʻE – The County of Kauaʻi Department of Public Works and its contractor, Kennedy Jenks, will conduct wastewater manhole inspections along county roads in Wailua and Kapaʻa from Monday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 25, weather permitting. Work will take place daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Crews will inspect sewer manholes at various locations between Lehua Street in downtown Kapaʻa and Haleʻilio Road in Wailua. No work will be done on Kūhiō Highway. Each inspection is expected to take about 15 minutes per manhole.
No lane closures are anticipated, but motorists may experience brief delays near active work areas. Please use caution when driving near crews and allow extra travel time.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation.
