August 20, 2:15 p.m., County of Kaua‘i, Wainiha brush fire
The Kaua‘i Fire Department is responding to a brush fire in Wainiha in the vicinity of Ananalu Road and Anahulu Road.
According to preliminary reports, there are no reports of damage to nearby structures and no reports of injuries.
The fire was reported on Thursday, August 20, shortly before 1:25 p.m.
Response:
Crews are currently on scene, and making additional assessments.
Assets
Personnel with the Hanalei fire station, Air 1, and the Kaua‘i Police Department are responding to this incident.
The Kaua‘i Emergency Management Agency are monitoring.
Road closures
The Kaua‘i Police Department is providing traffic control in the area.
