Lane closures scheduled for portion of Wailua through Aug. 20
WAILUA – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, The Cutting-Edge, are announcing lane closures along a portion of Kalama Road in Wailua on weekdays through Aug. 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for emergency tree removal work.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with alternating flow, and intermittent full road closures may be necessary. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.
