Lane closures scheduled for Kawaihau Road July 27 to July 31

KAPAʻA - The Department of Public Works and its contractor, The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions, are announcing possible lane closures along portions of Kawaihau Road in the vicinity of Kahuna Road, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 27 to July 31.

While lane closures are not anticipated at this time, the public is advised of possible intermittent lane closures with alternating traffic, should it be necessary. All work is weather permitting.

The lane closures are necessary for the public’s safety and to allow The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions to conduct tree trimming and tree maintenance operations.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane and road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
