July 18, 5:45 p.m., County of Kaua‘i, Anahola brush fire
ANAHOLA - The Kaua‘i Fire Department extinguished a roughly 150-foot-by-10-foot brush fire in Anahola in the vicinity of Hokualele Road, Aliomanu Road, and Kuhio Highway.
According to preliminary reports, there were no damage to nearby structures and no injuries.
The fire was reported on Saturday, July 18, shortly after 4:05 p.m.
Response:
Crews have extinguished the fire and have since cleared the scene.
Assets
Personnel with the Kaiakea Fire Station, Tanker 3, and the Kaua‘i Police Department are responded to this incident.
Road closures
The Kaua‘i Police Department provided traffic control in the area.
