July 18, 4:30 p.m., County of Kaua‘i, Anahola brush fire
The Kaua‘i Fire Department is responding to a brush fire in Anahola in the vicinity of Hokualele Road and Kuhio Highway.
According to preliminary reports, there are no reports of damage to nearby structures and no reports of injuries.
The fire was reported on Saturday, July 18, shortly after 4:05 p.m.
Response:
Crews are currently on scene, and making additional assessments.
Assets
Personnel with the Kaiakea Fire Station, Tanker 3, and the Kaua‘i Police Department are responding to this incident.
Road closures
The Kaua‘i Police Department is providing traffic control in the area.
Updates will be provided when more information becomes available.
