No-cost, First-Time Homebuyers Education Series set for July 30 at Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall
LĪHUʻE – The County of Kauaʻi Housing Agency invites the community to the First-Time Homebuyers Education Series, a no-cost educational event hosted by the Kauaʻi Board of Realtors in partnership with the Housing Agency and the Hawaii HomeOwnership Center.
The event will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall.
h the theme “Homeownership Starts with Education,” the series is designed to help residents take the first steps toward buying a home by connecting them with practical information and local housing professionals.
Attendees will learn about:
- Understanding today’s Kauaʻi housing market;
- How to prepare financially;
- Mortgage loan options and pre-approval;
- Down payment assistance and housing programs;
- The escrow and closing process; and
- Home inspections and insurance.
Participants will also have the opportunity to meet local housing professionals, including Realtors, Kauaʻi Board of Realtors, affiliate partners, mortgage lenders, title and escrow companies, insurance professionals, home inspectors, and representatives from the County of Kauaʻi Housing Agency and the Hawai‘i HomeOwnership Center.
