For Immediate Release: July 16, 2026

Lane closures scheduled for Po‘ipū Road, Kōloa Road, and Maluhia Road
July 20  to July 24

KŌLOA –  The Department of Public Works is announcing single-lane closures along portions of Po‘ipū Road, Kōloa Road, and Maluhia Road, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 20 to July 24.  All work is weather permitting.

The lane closures are necessary for the public’s safety and to allow the Department of Public Works, Roads Division, crews to complete roadside and shoulder vegetation maintenance within the County right-of-way.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary traffic modifications, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.  Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
