8:20 a.m., July 15, Refuse Transfer Facilities Update
Below is the current service status of Kaua‘i’s refuse transfer stations and the Kekaha Landfill as of 8:20 a.m., July 15.
Hanalei Refuse Transfer Station
Current Status: All services are available.
Regular Operating Hours: 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Green waste is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: 5-3751 Kuhio Hwy, Princeville
Kapa'a Refuse Transfer Station
Current Status: All services are available.
Regular Operating Hours: 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Location: 5051 Kahi Rd, Kapaʻa
Līhu‘e Refuse Transfer Station
Current Status: All services are available.
Regular Operating Hours: 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Location: 3450 Ahukini Road, Līhu‘e
Hanapēpē Refuse Transfer Station
Current Status: Due to equipment issues, the Hanapēpē Refuse Transfer Station will not be accepting loose refuse, bagged refuse only, until further notice, pending repairs. All other services are available.
Regular Operating Hours: 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Location: 4380 Lele Road, Hanapēpē
Kekaha Landfill (NEW UPDATE)
Current Status: Green waste will reopen tomorrow, July 16. All other services are available.
Regular Operating Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Closed for lunch from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Location: 6900 Kaumuali‘i Hwy, Kekaha
