KPD Adjusts Records and Firearms Service Hours for July and August

LĪHU‘E – The Kaua‘i Police Department announces changes to the Records Section service hours due to staffing needs and scheduled training.

Beginning on Monday, July 6, 2026, and continuing through Monday, August 31, 2026, Records and Firearms services will operate under the following schedule:

Monday and Wednesday

• Open 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday

• Open 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Friday

• Open 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

On Friday, August 14, 2026, both Records and Firearms services will be available in the afternoon from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. due to staff training.

Records and Firearms services are closed on state and federally observed holidays.
