Police Provide Update on Sinclair Search
LĪHU‘E – The Kauaʻi Police Department is providing the following update regarding the search for William “Billy” Sinclair.
This morning, officers located Sinclair near the Kapaʻa Public Library. A foot pursuit ensued, during which Sinclair entered the ocean behind the library and is currently isolated in the water. Officers are attempting to negotiate his surrender.
Members of the public are urged to continue to avoid the area to allow emergency responders to operate safely and efficiently.
