Lane closure scheduled for Rice Street night work June 5

LĪHU‘E – The Department of Public Works Wastewater Division is announcing a single-lane closure on Rice Street in Līhu‘e, near ‘Ōlelo Christian Academy, on June 5 from 7 p.m. to approximately 1 a.m. on June 6, weather permitting.

This lane closure is necessary to repair a broken sewer manhole ring.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closure, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, parking will be restricted in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
