County announces holiday closures
LĪHU‘E – In observance of King Kamehameha Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Thursday, June 11.
Closures also include the following facilities on June 11:
· All neighborhood centers;
· The Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
· All refuse transfer stations;
· The Kekaha Landfill;
· The Puhi Metals Recycling Center; and
· The HI5 redemption centers in Līhu‘e.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.
The HI5 redemption centers in Kapa‘a and Kōloa operated by Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Friday, June 12.
