Road closures scheduled for Alawai Road May 27 to June 10

WAIMEA -  The Department of Public Works is announcing full road closures along portions of Alawai Road May 27 to June 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

These road closures are necessary for the public’s safety and to allow the Department of Public Works, Roads Division, crews to complete culvert and road repairs within the County right of way.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary traffic modifications, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.  Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
