Emergency road closure scheduled for portion of `Ōpaeka`a Road
WAILUA - The Department of Public Works is announcing an emergency road closure along a portion of `Ōpaeka`a Road in the vicinity of Pulana Street on April 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.
The closures are necessary to allow the County’s Roads Division to conduct bridge cleaning and debris removal in preparation of the potential inclement weather this week.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closure, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
