KPD to Temporarily Close Administrative Offices on March 30
LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) announces that all administrative operations, including Records and Firearms Services, will be temporarily closed from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026, for the department’s change of command ceremony.
Regular operations will resume at 12:45 p.m. the same day. Records services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and firearms registration services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding state and federally observed holidays.
Please be advised that emergency response services will continue uninterrupted. The 911 emergency line remains fully operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For non-emergency police assistance, the public is advised to contact (808) 241-1711.
