Dec. 12, 2:45 P.M. UPDATE, County of Kaua‘i, Kōloa brush fire
Kaua‘i Fire Department firefighters are responding to a brush fire in Kōloa. The fire was reported at 2:15 p.m., and the size of the blaze is unknown at this time.
No injuries or damaged structures have been reported at this time.
Response
According to a preliminary report, crews are currently working to extinguish the brush fire.
Assets
Crews with the Kōloa and Kalaheo fire stations, Tender 5, the on-duty Battalion Chief, and crews with the Department of Public Works are responding to this incident.
The Kaua‘i Emergency Management Agency is monitoring the incident.

No road closures at this time.
