Intermittent road and lane closures scheduled for tree trimming along Hauaala Road
KAPA‘A – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions, are announcing single lane closures and intermittent road closures along portions of Hauaala Road in Kapa‘a from August 13 to 14 and August 18 to 19, from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Intermittent 15 to 30 minute full road closures will occur throughout the workday in the vicinity of Makamaka Street.
The following closures are necessary for tree trimming and removal.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
