Aug. 3, 2:15 P.M. UPDATE, County of Kaua‘i, Anahola brush fire
Kaua‘i Fire Department firefighters are responding to a brush fire in Anahola near Hokualele Road. The fire was reported shortly after 1:45 p.m., and the size of the blaze is unknown at this time.
No injuries or damaged structures have been reported at this time.
Assets
Crews with the Kapaa and Kaiakea fire stations, Tanker 1, Air 1, and the on-duty Battalion Chief are responding to this incident.
The Kaua‘i Emergency Management Agency is monitoring the incident.
Road closures
At this time, there are no road closures. However, first responders are advising the public to avoid the area.
