If your residential trash has not been collected by 11 a.m. today, please notify the Solid Waste Division by calling 808-241-4841.

LĪHUʻE – The Solid Waste Division announces that due to staffing issues, residential trash collection will be delayed islandwide today, July 24.
Areas affected include Kekaha, Waimea, Hanapēpē, 'Ele'ele, Hanalei, Wainiha, Hā‘ena, Kapa'a, and Kalāheo.
Officials anticipate that these areas will be serviced today, tomorrow, or Saturday. Officials advise residents to leave their bins out, as service may occur before the estimated pickup days later this week.

UPDATE: Residential trash collection delayed in Kekaha, Waimea, Hanapēpē, and 'Ele'ele
LĪHUʻE – The Solid Waste Division announces that due to staffing issues, residential trash collection will not occur today, July 23, for the areas of Kekaha, Waimea, Hanapēpē, and 'Ele'ele.
Due to minimum crew using small modified trucks, the portions of Kekaha and Waimea that were originally scheduled to be serviced Monday may not be completed today.
Additionally, residential trash collection in the Hanapēpē and 'Ele'ele areas that was not serviced today will be completed tomorrow, July 24, or Friday, July 25.
Officials anticipate that those areas will be serviced in the latter half of the week. Officials advise residents to leave their bins out, as service may occur before the estimated pickup days later this week.

LĪHUʻE – The Solid Waste Division announces that due to staffing issues, residential trash collection will not occur today, July 22, for the areas of Kekaha, Waimea, and portions of Hanapēpē.
Officials anticipate that those areas will be serviced in the latter half of the week. Officials advise residents to leave their bins out, as service may occur before the estimated pickup days later this week.
Additionally, residential trash collection in the Kapa‘a and Wailua Homesteads areas that was not serviced yesterday will be done today.
