Lane closures scheduled for Uha Road and Kauhale Road for resurfacing work July 15 to 16

LAWAI – The Department of Public Works and its contractor Grace Pacific LLC are announcing road closures and single-lane contraflow traffic patterns for portions of Uha Road and Kauhale Road in Lawai, from July 15 to 16, between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

On July 15, lane closures will be in place on Uha Road, from the Ke‘o Place intersection heading 500 feet south along Uha Road.

On July 16, lane closures will be in place on Kauhale Road from the Uha Road intersection to the asphalt pavement dead end.

These traffic modifications are necessary for road resurfacing work. Electronic message boards will be posted to inform motorists. Please plan accordingly, allow extra travel time, and avoid parking in the work zones. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
