Public Help Needed to Identify Suspect in Kapa‘a Burglary
KAPA‘A – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary that occurred at the Coconut Marketplace earlier this week.
On Monday, June 23, 2025, during the early morning hours, a burglary occurred at Ayatar Boutique located at the Coconut Marketplace in Kapa‘a. The estimated value of the stolen items is $14,500.
Officers reviewed surveillance footage that showed a lone suspect entering the store through a window and taking jewelry. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie jacket with the word “Kaua‘i” in white letters, black pants, and footwear resembling Crocs.
A still image of the suspect is being released to aid in the identification process. Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information related to this incident is urged to come forward.
