Registration for Summer Fun Golf Program begins June 9
LĪHU‘E – The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that registration for the county’s 2025 Summer Fun Golf Program will take place June 9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wailua Golf Pro Shop. at 3 p.m. and is open to boys and girls age 7 to 15.
The cost of enrollment is $35 per child. To participate in this program, participants are required to have the necessary equipment; the required minimum equipment is a putter, 5 iron, 7 iron, 9 iron, wedge, driver, and golf bag. Attire for participants is casual wear with sports shoes, no soccer, baseball, or spiked golf shoes will be allowed. Parents and guardians will be responsible for providing participants with snacks and beverages, and sun protection is recommended.
Enrollment is limited and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Only parents or legal guardians of the child will be able to sign the required waiver at registration. If you are not that person, but are signing the form for them, you must attach a Power-of-Attorney or notarized document stating you are legally authorized to sign on behalf of the Parent or Legal Guardian.
There will be three sessions over the course of the summer.
Session 1: Session 1 will run from June 16 to June 27. Mondays to Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Fridays, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Session 2: Session 2 will run from June 30 to July 11, with the exception of Independence Day on July 4. Mondays to Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Fridays, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Session 3: Session 3 will run from July 14 to July 25. Mondays to Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Fridays, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
