Temporary Relocation of Kolo Road Bus Stop Effective May 5
KILAUEA – Effective Monday, May 5, The Kauaʻi Bus will temporarily relocate the Kolo Road bus stop to the intersection of Kolo Road and Kilauea Road. This change is necessary due to ongoing roadwork and will remain in effect until further notice.
The relocation will affect Routes 500 (Līhuʻe to Hanalei) and 400 (Hanalei to Līhuʻe). Stop times and stop order will remain unchanged. Signage will be posted at the new location to guide riders.
The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) has announced a full closure of the Kolo Road and Kūhiō Highway intersection starting May 5. For details on the roadwork, please view HDOT’s official press release at: https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/roadwork/.
