Public Advised of Alternative Non-Emergency Contact Numbers
LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) is notifying the public of alternative non-emergency contact numbers following a temporary disruption in phone service earlier today.
At approximately 9 a.m., both KPD’s non-emergency line at (808) 241-1711 and the 911 emergency line experienced a brief service interruption. Service to both lines has since been restored. However, as a precaution, KPD encourages the public to note the following alternative contact numbers for non-emergency situations:
- (808) 755-8516
- (808) 652-7837
The County of Kaua‘i’s Information Technology Division is actively monitoring the situation. Any relevant updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
