Wanted Individuals Arrested During Warrant Sweep in Līhu‘e
LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) successfully conducted an operation to apprehend individuals with outstanding arrest warrants.
On Wednesday, Mar. 19, 2025, officers with KPD’s Līhu‘e Field Operations Division arrested six individuals who were sought under various warrants. The individuals taken into custody during the operation include:
- Christian Troy Kopps, 29, arrested for Criminal Trespassing in the Second Degree, Theft in the Fourth Degree, Violation of Release on Bail Limit, and Criminal Contempt of Court.
- Gail Helen Singley, 60, arrested for Violation of Release on Bail Limit.
- Kalani Duke Duhaylongsod, 52, arrested on two warrants for Criminal Contempt of Court and two warrants for Violation of Release on Bail Limit.
- Liana Leslie Lopes, 35, arrested for Failure to Appear.
- Micah S.T. Otani, 38, arrested for Revocation and Modification of Probation.
- Tony Laan Lakabung, 38, arrested for Revocation and Modification of Probation and Criminal Contempt of Court.
These arrests are part of KPD’s ongoing efforts to address criminal activity and enhance public safety.
"Addressing outstanding warrants is crucial in preventing crime from escalating," stated Assistant Chief Kalani Ke. "Our top priority is the safety of our community. This operation allows us to take proactive steps to prevent further harm, protect victims, and ensure that individuals who have violated the law are held accountable for their actions."

Gail Helen Singley, 60, was arrested on March 19, 2025.
