Lane closures scheduled in portions of ‘Ele‘ele through Jan. 24
‘ELE‘ELE – The Department of Public Works and its Contractor Insituform Technologies, LLC, announce portions of ‘Ele‘ele will be closed through Jan. 24, weekdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The one-lane closures are necessary for asphalt concrete sewer work.
The following roads will be affected:
- ‘Ele‘ele Road, between Kaumuali‘i Highway to the intersection of Melemele Road and ‘Ele‘ele Road;
- Melemele Road, between the intersection of ‘Ele‘ele Road to Melemele Road; and
- a portion of Uliuli Road near Ulaula Road and Akala Road,
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to reach your destinations. Motorists are advised to expect brief and occasional delays. Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area.
