Lane closures scheduled for portions of Kekaha Jan. 21 to Jan. 24

KEKAHA – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Maui Kupono Builders, are announcing a one-lane closure for a portion of Kekaha from Jan. 21 to Jan. 24, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The following roads will be affected:

• Elepaio Road, between Kala Road to Pueo Road, and
• Mamo Road

The closures are necessary for road resurfacing work. Area residents will be allowed partial access through the closure.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures and allow extra time to get to the destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.  Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
