Puhi Park tennis and basketball courts to be closed starting Jan. 16
PUHI – The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) is announcing that the tennis and basketball courts at Puhi Park will be closed from Jan. 16 and estimated to reopen in the second week of May, weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for playcourt resurfacing work and other upgrades.
The general contractor for the project is Pacific Concrete Cutting & Coring, Inc.
This closure is part of the County’s $3.1 million Playcourt Resurfacing Project, including Wailua Houselots Park, the Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex, and Puhi Park. Updates on the construction and closures of these facilities’ play courts will be announced in future news releases.
