Lane closures at various Wailua and Kapa‘a locations scheduled Jan. 6 to Jan. 13
KAPA‘A - The Department of Public Works and its contractor, The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions, are announcing single-lane closures at various Wailua and Kapa‘a locations, weekdays only, from Jan. 6 to Jan. 13. All work is weather permitting.
The contractor will close lanes from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations and dates:
- Eggerking Road: Jan. 6;
- Kanaele Road: Jan. 6;
- Kipapa Road: Jan. 6 to 7; and
- Kawaihau Road: Jan. 8 to 13.
The closures are necessary for the public’s safety and to allow The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions to trim and remove trees growing along the roadway.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
