For Immediate Release: November 20, 2024

Lane closures scheduled for portions of Kekaha Nov. 25 to Nov. 27

KEKAHA – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Maui Kupono Builders, are announcing a one-lane closure for a portions of Kekaha Nov. 25 to Nov. 27, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The following roads will be affected:

• Auku‘u Road,
• Akepa Road, and
• Mamo Road.

The closures are necessary for road resurfacing work. Area residents will be allowed partial access through the closure.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.  Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
