One-lane closure scheduled for Ulu Street in Kapa‘a Sept. 9 to Sept. 13
KAPA‘A – The Department of Public Works and its contractor Maui Kupono Builders are announcing that a portion of Ulu Street in Kapa‘a will be closed Sept. 9 to Sept. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The closure is necessary for road resurfacing work.
One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions. Access will be provided for residents in the area. Motorists are advised to detour through Kukui Street, as traffic will be limited on Ulu Street during construction hours.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
