Police seek public’s help for Lumaha‘i Bridge assault case
HANALEI – The Kaua‘i Police Department is currently seeking information regarding an assault that took place on Lumaha‘i Bridge yesterday morning.
On Thursday, Jun. 6, at approximately 11:15 a.m. police responded to Lumaha‘i Bridge for a man who was unresponsive. The victim's injuries were consistent with those typically sustained in an assault. The victim was transported to the Wilcox Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Police are asking for information from drivers who were traveling on Kūhiō Highway in the vicinity of Lumaha‘i Bridge on Thursday, Jun. 6, between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
