Night work on pothole repairs scheduled for Kapa‘a area, May 8-9
KAPA‘A – The Department of Public Works Wastewater Management Division is advising motorists of upcoming night work in the Kapa‘a area on Wednesday, May 8, through Thursday, May 9, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
During these times, the southbound lane of Kūhiō Highway, between milepost 8.39 and 8.40, in the vicinity of Kukui Street, Kauwila Street, and Olympic Café, will be closed for pothole repair work around a sewer maintenance hole.
Southbound travel will be detoured through the northbound left turn lane.
The public is advised to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closure, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations.
