Officials advise no swimming at Hanalei Bay due to shark sighting
HANALEI – Ocean Safety Bureau officials advise no swimming at Hanalei Bay until further notice due to a shark sighting.
OSB officials sighted a possible 6-8 foot shark aggressively feeding on fish in waters off Hanalei Bay.
As a safety precaution, OSB officials have posted warning signs and are monitoring the area.
Lifeguards will reassess the area tomorrow.
