WAILUA – The public is advised that the County will be conducting work from 10 p.m. Jan. 10 to 7 a.m. Jan. 11 at the Coco Palms Sewage Pump Station, in the vicinity of Haleilio Road and Kūhiō Highway. No lane closures are scheduled.
The pump station shutdown and sewage bypassing are necessary to allow the Wastewater Management Division’s contractor, Kiewit Infrastructure West Co., to replace isolation valves inside the pump station dry well. To accomplish the project, the work must occur during the late night/early morning hours when wastewater flows are at their lowest.
The County appreciates the community’s understanding in allowing this work to take place, which is necessary to operate and maintain this critical infrastructure asset.
For more information or questions, please contact Nick Goritz, Kiewit Infrastructure West Co. at 310-339-0030 or Jason Coloma at 808-241-1991.
