For Immediate Release: November 14, 2023

Waimea Athletic Field restrooms closed from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15

WAIMEA – The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) is announcing that the Waimea Athletic Field restrooms near Kaumuali‘i Highway will be closed from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, weather permitting. 

The closure of the restrooms is necessary for renovations. During this period, portable toilets will be available for use. In addition, the restrooms near Huakai Road, by the basketball courts, will remain open.

The general contractor for the project is Pacific Blue Construction.

The Department of Parks and Recreation thanks the public for their patience and understanding.
