Correction for Veterans Day holiday closures 

A previous version of this news release incorrectly listed the closure date of the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools. The pools will observe the holiday on Saturday, Nov. 11. Mahalo

County announces holiday closures

LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10.

Closures also include all neighborhood centers on Nov. 10.

Closures include the following on Nov. 11:

• the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
• the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center in Līhu‘e;
• the Kekaha Landfill; and
• all refuse transfer stations.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holiday.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, Nov. 13.
