Hanalei refuse transfer station closed until further notice

The Hanalei refuse transfer station is closed until further notice due to a broken water line.

Customers are advised to use the Kapa‘a refuse transfer station during this period.

Updates will be posted when the Hanalei refuse transfer station reopens. The Solid Waste Division thanks the public for their patience and understanding.

The Hanalei refuse transfer station’s regular operating hours are from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The transfer station is closed on state holidays.
