Hanapēpē Refuse Transfer Station to close Sept. 30

Hanapēpē – The Department of Public Works Solid Waste Division announces that the Hanapēpē refuse transfer station will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The closure is necessary for crews to haul green waste. For the safety of crew members of the public during the green waste hauling, all services will be closed on Saturday.

The Hanapēpē refuse transfer station will reopen on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Residents are advised to use the Kekaha Landfill during the closure.
