Waimea Athletic Field pavilion closed from Sept. 25 to Oct. 30
WAIMEA – The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) is announcing that the Waimea Athletic Field pavilion will be closed from Sept. 25 to Oct. 30, weather permitting.
The closure of the pavilion and water fountain is necessary to complete American with Disability Act (ADA) improvements to the park and various repairs to the pavilion. Closed locations will be blocked off during the improvement period.
The general contractor for the project is Pacific Blue Construction.
Although the pavilion and a park entry will be closed, the comfort station and other portions of the park will remain open. The Department of Parks and Recreation thanks the public for their patience and understanding.
For questions or more information, please contact Brian Inouye with DOPR at 808-241-4852
