Portion of Leho Drive to be closed overnight Aug. 31 to Sept. 1 and Sept. 8 to Sept. 9

WAILUA – The public is advised that a portion of Leho Drive near Kūhiō Highway by the Hilton Garden Inn in Wailua will be closed overnight from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1 , and Sept. 8 to Sept. 9, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., weather permitting.  

The closure is necessary to allow the Wastewater Management Division’s contractor, Kiewet Infrastructure West Co., to remove a temporary wastewater bypass system.

Access will be maintained to the Hilton Garden Inn and Kūhiō via a detour that will route motorists to the south intersection of Leho Drive and Kūhiō Highway.
