OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 28 – NOV. 3

PLEASE NOTE:

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

--- H-1 FREEWAY ---

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the westbound H-1 Freeway closed from Kapiolani Interchange and University Avenue Interchange, on Sunday night, Oct. 22, through Tuesday morning, Oct. 31, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for resurfacing work. Motorists will be detoured.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the westbound H-1 Freeway closed from University Avenue Interchange to Alexander Street, on Tuesday night, Oct. 31, through Friday morning, Nov. 3, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for resurfacing work. The westbound King Street off-ramp (Exit 25A) will be closed. Motorists will be detoured.

3) HONOLULU

Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between Ainakoa Avenue and Middle Street on Monday night, Oct. 30, and Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., for street sweeping and pothole patching.

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two to three lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction the Kinau Street offramp and Kapiolani Interchange on Sunday night, Oct. 29, through Friday morning, Nov. 3, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for striping work.

5) HONOLULU

Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between Pearl City Interchange and Middle Street on Tuesday night, Oct. 24, through Friday morning, Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., for street sweeping

6) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure in the vicinity of westbound King Street off-ramp (Exit 25A) from the H-1 Freeway on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for repair work.

7) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on the Airport offramp (Exit 16) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., for concrete repairs.

8) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the HNL Airport departures and arrivals onramps to the H-1 Freeway in both directions on Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., for concrete repairs.

9) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Ala Onaona Street onramp to the H-1 Freeway in both directions on Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., for concrete repairs.

10) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Aolele Street onramp to the H-1 Freeway in both directions on Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m., for concrete repairs.

11) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Full closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium offramp (Exit 15A) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, Oct. 28, through Sunday, Oct. 29, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., for pavement reconstruction.

12) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the Joint Base PHH offramp (Exit 15) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for The Rail project.

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Kunia Road and Paiwa Street on Friday night, Oct. 27, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for marker installations.

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY —

1) HALAWA

Right lane closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the H-3 Freeway Interchange on Monday, Oct. 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail work.

2) HALAWA TO MOANALUA

Left lane closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the westbound direction between Kahuapaani Street and Funston Road overpass on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for road improvements.

3) MOANALUA

Right lane closure on the Kamehameha Highway on-ramp to the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the eastbound direction on Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail repairs.

4) MOANALUA (NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the eastbound direction between Puuloa Road and Funston Road on Wednesday, Oct. 27, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for striping work.

5) MOANALUA

Left lane closure on the Kamehameha Highway in the eastbound direction between Ala Kopiko Street and Ala Napunani Street on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for road improvements.

Right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Harano Tunnel and Kaneohe Marine Corps Base, on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for maintenance work.

Lane shifts on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions between Makau Street and Upena Street on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for abutment and waterline work at Makaha Bridge No. 3 and No. 3A.

2) MAKAHA (24/7 CLOSURE)

24-hour lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions in the vicinity of Makaha Bridge No. 3A on Saturday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 3, for the construction of approach slabs.

3) WAIALUA

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 930) in both directions between Goodale Avenue and Kuhi Street on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for resurfacing work.

4) WAIALUA

Lane shifts on Farrington Highway (Route 930) in both directions in the vicinity of Erdman and Laau Paina Place on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for raised speed hump installations.

5) WAIANAE

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of Milikami Street on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road repairs.

Left lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in both directions between Kirkwood Street and West Hind Drive on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road repairs.

2) AINA HAINA TO HAWAII KAI

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in both directions between Ainakoa Avenue and Lunalilo Home Road on Tuesday, Oct. 31, and Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., for street sweeping.

3) NIU VALLEY

Left lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in both directions between Ainakoa Avenue and Puuikena Drive on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road repairs.

Right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) in both directions in the vicinity of Weed Circle on Thursday, Nov. 2, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for grass cutting.

Right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) in both directions in the vicinity of Weed Circle on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for sign repairs.

3) HAUULA

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in both directions between Imua Place and Kawaipuna Street on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for utility work.

4) KAHUKU TO KAHALUU

Roving right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in both directions between Marconi Road and Waiahole Valley Road on Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for HECO utility work.

5) KALIHI (24/7 CLOSURE)

Kamehameha Highway between Middle Street and Laumaka Street will be reduced to one westbound and one eastbound lane 24-hours a day, seven days a week, for The Rail. Other adjustments to the area include:

No left turns from Kamehameha Highway will be allowed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Driveway and Business access will be maintained.
The H-1 eastbound off-ramp to Dillingham Blvd. will be reduced to one lane. Middle Street southbound left turn reduced to single turn lane.
The sidewalk on the makai side of Dillingham Boulevard between Puuhale Road and Mokauea Street will be closed 24/7 with pedestrians rerouted to the mauka sidewalk.

The Pauoa Road on-ramp and the Pacific Heights Road off-ramp will be closed during this time.
