Marietta Police Department Hosts Charity Golf Tournament for Special Olympics
The Marietta Police Department is hosting a charity golf tournament to benefit the Special Olympics of Georgia and the 26,000 Georgia athletes/participants. The Special Olympics offers 25 different sports for the athletes to experience. Athletes gain confidence and life skills by participating and competing in their chosen sport. The Marietta Police Department will offer a 12-hour Rape Aggression Defense class in February for women of all fitness levels and ages to successfully learn options to escape attacks.
