Girls Youth Softball
Registration closes February 3
We invite players of all levels to enhance their softball skills through our league at Hunter Park. Athletes will focus on all areas of fundamentals, individual development, and the importance of teamwork.

Girls Youth Volleyball
Registration closes February 24
Limited scholarships are available and the application deadline is February 10. Specific evaluation and game details will be provided after registration is complete. Coaches are always needed.

League of Stars: Adaptive Baseball
Registration closes May 6
This program aims to provide developmental and progressive sport opportunities to individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities that improves the quality of life for the participants and their families through the sport of baseball. Games are on Saturdays from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Adaptive Baseball Field at Hunter Park.

D'Ville Fit

Are you looking to jumpstart the new year with a fitness goal? Wanting to workout and have fun while doing so? If so, the D'Ville Fit program is for you!
This program is designed to equip adults with the knowledge and skills to be physically active. No equipment is needed! Just bring YOU and meet us at the Ike Owings Community Center at Hunter Park (8830 Gurley Rd. Douglasville, GA 30134) every Saturday in February from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Passport to Latin Social Dance
Classes are Sundays through March 5 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Ike Owings Community Center
It's not too late to join us for Passport to Latin Social Dancing! This course includes the progressive instruction of the basic techniques of Salsa, Bachata, Cha-Cha, Merengue, and Afro-Cuban Rumba. Participants will learn footwork, styling, timing, and the cultural significance of each dance. The College Exploration Program is designed to educate parents and students on the best fit for colleges. Each week will showcase and highlight topics such as financial aid assistance, essay writing, admissions, and all things college related. Get your scholar on track for college by registering here. Therapeutic Recreation: Sweetheart Dance

Our 2nd Annual Sweetheart Dance is an inclusive party and a therapeutic recreation program for individuals with disabilities, along with their families and friends. Kids Day Off Winter Break Camp

They’re out of school again?! Well, that’s okay! Bundle up with us! Kids Day Off: Winter Break Camp is for children ages 5 to 12. This week-long program is loaded with education, inspiration, and socialization. With around-the-clock fun and crafts like Build-A-Quilt, your child may never want to go home! A field trip is included in the price. Lunch is not provided for camp. Registration closes February 6th HERE.

Recreation N Brunch (R&B) Saturdays
Saturday, March 11 at Fowler Field and March 25 at Willing Workers
What's better than Saturday Brunch? Let's add in a family day of recreation. We will also unveil our newest program, Rec-N-Roll Mobile Recreation Unit, which will help us connect with local neighborhoods and communities. We will share details about reserving Rec-N-Roll for your event/community. Come out and enjoy games and fun. Vendors will be onsite with food available for purchase.
You have two chances to enjoy the festivities: March 11 at Fowler Field (3270 Chapel Hill Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135) and March 25 at Willing Workers Park (8085 Thompson St, Douglasville, GA 30134). Family-friendly vendors are invited to register here.

Grown-ish: Adulting 101
Monday, March 13 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Ike Owings Community Center
"Adulting” can be hard. Preparing for college and careers is increasingly important as high school students enter into their junior and senior years. Our Grown-ish: Adulting 101 event is designed to support students through the steps of the planning process for life goals after high school including sessions discussing college prep, resume building, interview tips and business/work attire.
Students are strongly advised to dress for success. This event is FREE, but registration is required HERE and resumes are highly encouraged.

Paint with a Purpose
Friday, March 17 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Ike Owings Community Center
Come out and enjoy an evening of Therapeutic Recreation (TR) while painting with a purpose. There will be snacks, games and music for each person to discover their inner artistic styles. The $10 fee includes supplies necessary for each art project. Register HERE.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Saturday, April 1 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the Ike Owings Community Center
Join us on April 1, 2023, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM for a delicious breakfast with the Easter Bunny. During breakfast the Easter Bunny will be hopping around to visit with guests while sniffing around for carrots. This is a FREE event that the entire family can enjoy.
