Renovations are underway at Jessie Davis Park and access to basketball courts and other amenities at the park will be restricted. The Alice J. You're Invited to the GreyStone Amphitheater Topping Out Ceremony
Join us as we mark a key milestone in the construction of the GreyStone Amphitheater on Monday, November 7th from 3:30 – 5:00 PM. We will conduct the Topping Out Ceremony at the Town Green (6813 Church Street) and have light refreshments following at the Douglasville Conference Center (6700 Church Street).

Agape Arts Drama Club- Adults Performing Arts Class
Calling all Adults!! Are you prepared to nail your next audition? Join this engaging, interactive class to master your audition and performance techniques!
Students will learn to analyze, memorize, audition and perform a monologue. This class is designed to enhance each student's creativity, critical thinking skills, team building abilities, confidence, communication, and public speaking abilities! Get started HERE.

College Exploration Program
The College Exploration Program is designed to educate parents and students on the best fit for colleges. Students should have a G.P.A. ranging from 2.0 and higher. Additionally, each week will showcase and highlight topics such as financial aid assistance, essay assistance, and all things college related. Scholarships are available. Sign up HERE.

Taekwondo
Students will learn balance/agility coordination, mental sharpness, discipline, and self-confidence. Rank advancement is encouraged through motivation goal setting, and above all perseverance. Beginner, Intermediate and advanced classes open for registration HERE.

Family Wellness Walk
Saturday, November 19 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Hunter Park
Let's get those steps in! Join us at Hunter Park for a Family Wellness Walk. Steps and distance will be captured thru the Outwalk App. Participants can register individually or as a family. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals and families that complete the most steps. This event is free but we kindly ask that attendees register HERE.

Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM at Hunter Park
Breakfast with Santa is an event for children aged 0-12 and their families that gives them the opportunity to sit down and have breakfast with Santa. We will have arts and crafts for all participants as they enjoy breakfast. And every child gets to take a photo with Santa and tell him their Christmas wishes. Everyone MUST be registered for the event (including parents) HERE. There will be no registration the day of the event.

Therapeutic Recreation – Winter Bowling
Friday, December 9 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Southern Lanes Bowling 3931 Longview Dr, Douglasville, GA 30135
Come out and join the Douglasville Parks and Recreation department as we kick off our therapeutic recreation programs for individuals with disabilities. All are welcome to attend this event filled with a fun night of bowling, food, and socializing! The fee covers bowling, Christmas themed crafts and food. Santa’s Helper – Parent’s Night Out
Saturday, December 17 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Ike Owings Community Center
We are here to help for the holiday season. For one night, we will host children so parents/caregivers can take time to do last minute shopping, go out on a date or take a night off. We will have holiday themed activities and crafts for the kids to do while you are out. Food and activities are provided. Registration is open HERE.

Kid’s Day Off “Holiday Edition” Camp
Monday, December 19 - Wednesday, December 21 from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM at the Ike Owings Community Center
KDO (Kids Day Off) Holiday Edition Camp is a three-day minicamp session prior to Christmas. KDO Camps are modified versions of Camp FUNtastic where campers engage in various social, educational, environmental, and recreational activities.
