TIME TO GET FRIENDS AND FAMILY ON THE WATER FOR SOME FISHING!

 

Have you been fishing lately? If so, did you take anyone with you? Even better, did you take anyone NEW to fishing with you?  Don’t hold out on friends and family – get them involved!

 

A top spot to go fish right now is in South Georgia rivers.  These waterways are experiencing fantastic fishing with anglers reporting catches of bream averaging 1 pound!  Can’t get to South Georgia? Many of Georgia’s public waters across the state are stocked each year with millions of bass, trout, walleye, catfish and other species, so you are sure to find great opportunities no matter where you are.

Did you know that your purchase of a license or fishing-related equipment is an investment in Georgia’s fisheries? For every licensed angler, Georgia receives federal Sport Fish Restoration funds to manage and enhance fish populations and their habitat and improve access to fishing.
