Maintenance and Repairs to the Existing University of GA-Marine Extension Service (MAREX) Dock
Skidaway Island, Chatham County, Georgia

This serves as a notification from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources of the issuance of a Letter of Permission (LOP) to the University of GA-Marine Extension Service to conduct  maintenance activities associated with replacing piles and decking at the MAREX service Dock on Skidaway Island, Chatham County, Georgia during the period from August 2013 through February 2013.

The proposed project will involve driving fourteen (14) replacement pilings (30’ long, marine grade treated timber) and “board-for-board” re-decking of the existing floating docks.
