MAKE PLANS TO BE THERE ON SAT. MAY 11 FOR THE FUN-FILLED JAKES DAY EVENT AT CHARLIE ELLIOTT WILDLIFE CENTER

Time to get the whole family outside for an outdoor fun day!  Come to the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center’s JAKES Day on Saturday, May 11.  This FREE fun-filled event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Discovery Area located on the property and will be held rain or shine.

Free admission includes an array of activities that focus on Georgia wildlife, conservation, and outdoor recreational opportunities.  Kids can try archery, fishing, shooting sports, and can go on a mini-boat ride led by Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ conservation rangers. Live animal presentations, face painting, solar viewing with the Atlanta Astronomy Club, and exhibitors displaying wildlife themed booths add to the festivities. New for this year, a public tree climb and geocaching!
