Project WILD Educator Workshop Feb. 26 at Blue Ridge Outdoor Education Center

Join us as Blue Ridge Outdoor Education Center hosts a one-day Project WILD educator workshop on Feb. 26 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The registration fee is $30.50 and includes all workshop materials, the Project WILD Educator Guide, the Aquatic WILD Guide and lunch.

Blue Ridge Outdoor Education Center is located at 237 Camp Mikell Road, Toccoa, GA 30577. Contact Rich Bowerman at blueridge@windstream.net or (706) 886-7621 to register.

Can't make the workshop at Blue Ridge? No problem! We have regularly scheduled Project WILD, Flying WILD and Growing Up WILD workshops at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center and our facilitators also arrange open workshops throughout the year. We are always adding additional workshops, so regularly check the Project WILD website for a current list.

Growing Up WILD:

  • March 16 - Growing Up WILD Educator Workshop at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center
  • June 8 - Growing Up WILD Educator Workshop at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center

Flying WILD:

  • Feb. 16 - Flying WILD Educator Workshops at Charlie Elliott Wildife Center
  • May 18 - Flying WILD Educator Workshops at Charlie Elliott Wildife Center

Project WILD workshops are also set up at teachers’ requests, provided more than 10 teachers attend. If you are interested in holding a workshop in your area, please contact the Project WILD office at (770) 784-3059.

Interested in Becoming a Project WILD Facilitator?

Become a Project WILD, Project Learning Tree and Project WET Facilitator by attending one workshop. The triple facilitator workshop will be held Feb. 28-March 1. Registration is open and there are a few spaces left. Check our website for the registration form. Please note that in order to attend the facilitator workshop you must have attended an educator workshop of any of the three Projects.
